We are a charity that provides support to vulnerable children and their communities in Northern Uganda. We deliver immediate and lasting improvements by working together with local communities, families, government and other organisations for a more fulfilling and sustainable life for everyone. As we are managed by volunteers, our overheads are tiny so most of the money raised goes directly to those people who need it. You can help us make a difference to lives today.

Cylcing For Cycles in 2014!
A new fundraiser has started supporting our charity through the Virgin Money Giving website! We would very much like to thank Robert Pettitt who has decided to raise money for One Step At A Time through the sport he loves!
So what is Robert doing? In 2014, he has set himself the challenge to complete at least 6 "sportives" or the cycling equivalent of a marathon during the year. The "main event" will be the Granfondo Les Deux Alpes at the end of August 2014, which takes Robert 100 miles into the French Alps with 5 big alpine climbs totalling 4200m of elevation gain. Phew!
Robert was inspired to do this when he recently learned about One Step At A Time. We hope that you will support Robert in this challenge by donating to this wonderful cause. You can do so by visiting his Virgin Money Giving page (by clicking here) and pressing “Donate now.”
Good luck Robert!
